Vanguard Restaurant Group’s flagship restaurant, Maison Café + Market, opened in 2018 and quickly became a community staple for creating memories through service, food, hospitality and laughter.

Our restaurants are available for large group dinners. Large parties of 8 to 14 can be seated in our main dining rooms, while groups of 14 to 20 guests can be seated on our heated and covered patios. Though not a private room, both spaces provide an exciting environment for a special event.

For groups larger than 20, we offer full or partial buyouts, subject to availability.

We offer private dining experiences at all Vanguard restaurants, including Maison Café + Market, Giana Bakery + Provisions, Avec Moi, Doheny Café and GiGi’s Garden. Offering full buyouts, and on-location events catering. From large celebratory moments to intimate gatherings, our team is dedicated for creating special occasions that are both elegant and relaxed – and always delicious. Custom menu creation is available for all private dining experiences.

Bring the showstopper to your next event.

Our grazing tables are sure to please and are filled with your favorite charcuterie and cheeses, fresh and drowns fruits, nuts, olives, pickles, sliced baguette and accoutrements galore.

Avec Moi’s Cheese team will come to your event and build a grazing table on-site for $15 per person.

$3 per person – disposable plates, forks, tongs and napkins
$7 per person – add crudités and hummus
$2 per person – GF crackers

Maison Café + Market – On Del Prado

Our new Del Prado location, is a bright and charming space located in the beautiful Lantern District in Dana Point. Big enough for large groups but cozy enough to feel intimate, it is beautifully decorated and features options for both indoor and outdoor events. A full-restaurant buyout gives you full access to our entire restaurant, including our two outdoor terraces.

Avec Moi – Our Cheese and Wine Shop on Del Prado

Tucked away next door to Maison, Avec Moi offers a small intimate space for your petite sized gatherings.  Our all-natural wine list will let you explore the world of natural wines paired perfectly with extraordinary cheeses. Limited dining menu available with grazing tables and classic European spread, platters, sandwiches and salads.

Giana Bakery + Provision – On Pacific Coast Hwy

Our Italian sister is a stunning vision brought to life from Chef Danielle’s passion to bring simple, organic and house made pastas and bread to your table. Inspired by the Italian countryside the space is bursting with rustic charm and beauty.  A full-restaurant buyout gives you full access to our entire restaurant, including our covered and heated patio.

Gigi’s Garden – Giana’s Outdoor Event Space

Although our Garden is not available for regular dining, it is available to rent as part of a full service buy-out or on its own to host birthday parties, corporate events, business happy hours, and more. With our imported wood fire pizza oven and wine bar we are brining little slice of wine country in Dana Point.
